White screen, black text? - off white forums

I do not know if anyone noticed this, but it's easier on the eyes, a black screen and white letters preserved. If you've ever tried to read a novel on the screen of your computer, which is almost impossible. So why more people havent caught and made into a black screen with white text? Answers to many forums and video game nerd stuff has really stuck in his madness, but not able to change the skin on Yahoo, when is my light from the screen lights up the room, drop d power.
